QUESTIONS

What information do I need to get a value for my car?
You will need your vehicle's registration number, postcode and your contact details. If you believe your car is worth more than just the scrap value, you can upload photos to give us more information.
How long does it take to get the car collected and what paperwork do I need?
If you agree to the valuation, we will arrange a convenient time to collect the car within 3-5 working days, sooner if possible.
You will need to have available the V5C (log book) for handover on collection, and any keys you have.
What happens if my car is scrapped?
In the event that the vehicle is scrapped, we will advise the DVLA and issue a Certificate of Destruction.
What should I do if the car still has a valid tax disc?
You will be able to reclaim the outstanding tax from the DVLA.

How does the charity donation process work?
100% of your donation goes to charity, there are no hidden fees or costs.
If you are donating all of the proceeds of the agreed value of your car, the Udonateacar team will send your donation to Global’s Make Some Noise after collecting the vehicle.
If you choose to give a percentage of the agreed value of your car to Global’s Make Some Noise you will receive payment for the difference via BACs transfer to your bank account on collection of the vehicle. The Udonateacar team will transfer your agreed donation amount to the charity and you will receive a donation receipt and a follow up donation confirmation and thank you email from Global’s Make Some Noise.
What happens if my car gets sold again?
In the event that we should sell the complete vehicle, we take responsibility for advising the DVLA of the change of ownership.
