In support of the charity scheme, KINTO UK has provided a Renault ZOE to the UDonateacar team to be used for visiting regional businesses and community events to promote the scheme within the region.
KINTO UK is extremely pleased to announce its partnership with Silverlake Automotive Recycling on the Udonateacar charity scheme.
UDonateacar is a fundraising initiative from Silverlake which was re-launched in November 2021, marking the company’s 75th year in business. Silverlake has teamed up with the national charity partner, Global’s Make Some Noise, to support small and local charities by providing an easy way for customers to make a hassle-free donation when they responsibly and ethically scrap their vehicle at its Authorised Treatment Facility in Hampshire. Customers visiting the UDonateacar.com website can receive a free, no obligation valuation of their car and choose how much of the agreed sale price they want to donate. 100% of the donation is paid directly to Global’s Make Some Noise, and the remaining amount is transferred to the customer’s bank account. The UDonateacar team collects the vehicle free of charge and handles all the DVLA paperwork.
To support this campaign, KINTO UK has provided a Renault ZOE to the UDonateacar team which is being used for visiting regional businesses and community events to promote the charity scheme. Renault ZOE is a 100% electric vehicle, offering a generous load capacity and low running costs.
Matthew Rumble, CEO, KINTO UK said: “We are extremely pleased to be working closely with Silverlake on this campaign. I hope our collaboration will encourage more businesses and individuals to donate their end-of-life vehicles via the UDonateacar scheme and by doing so support small, local community charities.”
Allen Prebble, Managing
Director, Silverlake also commented: “Forging mutually beneficial partnerships
with businesses within our region is the most effective and authentic way to
support the initiative and we are thrilled with the support from KINTO UK. We
would like to thank them for embracing the scheme and providing a car for us to
further promote the initiative in the region.”
